Château Tour Saint Christophe is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé (classified 2022) from the Vignobles K estate located in Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes on the eastern edge of the Saint-Émilion appellation in Bordeaux, France. This 3-liter format offers four standard bottles of one of the Right Bank's most distinctive wines, ideal for cellaring or entertaining.
The estate spans 20 hectares of terraced vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils with south-southwest exposure, offering excellent drainage and natural minerality. The vines average 30 years of age and grow along historic dry-stone terraces — over 1.5 km of hand-restored 18th-century stone walls — that cascade down the hillsides. The blend is composed of approximately 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, harvested using physiological analysis and berry tasting to determine optimal ripeness.
Winemaking follows a "Vinification Intégrale" approach: grapes are destemmed and sorted before vatting in concrete tanks or Bordeaux barrels for approximately 30 days with daily tastings guiding extraction. Malolactic fermentation and aging occur in barrel for 15 to 18 months at constant temperature in underground cellars, with 30–40% new oak depending on vintage.
The wine opens with a sensual bouquet of black cherries and cassis, developing notes of spice and mineral character on the palate. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with sweet, supple tannins and well-integrated oak, finishing with elegance and structure typical of Right Bank Bordeaux.
