El Salze Monastrell is a Spanish red wine produced by Vins del Comtat, a winery founded in 1997 in Concentaina, located in Alicante's El Comtat region. Made from 100% Monastrell grapes sourced from the El Salze area near the Sierra de Mariola Natural Park, the wine comes from extraordinary plots with vines aged between 40 and 60 years, cultivated at a high altitude of 630 meters in a Mediterranean mountain climate.

The wine is matured for 12 months in French oak barrels. It presents a lively cherry color with medium depth, offering intense aromas of plums, white pepper, and floral notes. On the palate it is fresh, deep, and well-balanced with good harmony between fruit and wood and great persistence. It pairs well with beef, lamb, pasta, and game. Contains sulfites. 14.5% ABV.
