Bonacchi Molino Rosso di Montalcino is a Sangiovese-based red wine from the Montalcino appellation in Tuscany, Italy, produced by the Bonacchi winery under their Molino del Piano estate label. Rosso di Montalcino is the younger, more approachable sibling to Brunello di Montalcino, crafted from Sangiovese Grosso grapes grown in the renowned Montalcino hillside zone and typically aged for approximately one year before release.
The wine offers aromas of ripe plum, dark cherry, wild herbs, and leather, with a light- to medium-bodied palate showing juicy black cherry, baking spice, and soft, approachable tannins. It is well-suited for early drinking and pairs beautifully with pasta, grilled meats, and aged cheeses. The wine carries the Rosso di Montalcino DOCG designation, one of Tuscany's most prestigious wine classifications. Each bottle is 750ml and sold individually.
