Château Teyssier is a Kosher Saint-Émilion Grand Cru from Bordeaux, France, produced by Jonathan Maltus — widely regarded as one of the leading figures in Saint-Émilion winemaking and sometimes called the "English guru" of wine. This 750ml red wine is the flagship cuvée of Château Teyssier, a blend primarily of Merlot with Cabernet Franc, expressing the classic richness of Bordeaux's Right Bank with a Kosher designation.
The wine delivers concentrated red and black fruit aromas of blackberry, plum, and cassis, layered with earthy notes of graphite, tar, and a subtle herbaceous complexity. On the palate it offers soft tannins, vibrant structured acidity, and a long mineral-driven finish. Multiple vintages have earned scores in the 88–93 point range from critics and community reviewers, with several recognized as outstanding value for the price.
Best served at 16°C (61°F), it pairs well with grilled beef, roasted vegetables, and aged cheeses. Depending on the vintage, the wine is approachable on release and can be cellared for up to a decade.
