Albert Bichot Domaine Long-Depaquit Chablis is a white Burgundy wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, produced from one of Chablis's most historic and prized estates. Established in 1791 and acquired by Maison Albert Bichot in 1970, the domaine spans 69 acres across 34 plots on gentle Kimmeridgian calcareous clay slopes in northern Burgundy.
The nose features elegant complexity combining intense aromas of candied lemon with subtle hints of white flowers and classic Chablis minerality. On the palate, expect a chiseled, lively structure with almond notes and a mineral finish featuring saline and iodine nuances. The wine is fermented in stainless steel vats and aged on fine lees for 10 to 11 months, preserving freshness and terroir expression.
Best served between 48-52°F and enjoyed within 3 to 5 years. Pairs beautifully as an aperitif or with seafood such as oysters, prawns, crab, or fish. Consistently rated 87-92 points by critics including James Suckling, Wine Spectator, and Burghound.
