Château Larmande is a Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Émilion, one of the most prestigious appellations on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, France. The estate spans 20 hectares of continuous vineyard situated on the north slope of Saint-Émilion, planted in clay-limestone and siliceous clay soils that contribute to the wine's structure and aromatic complexity. The wine is a Merlot-dominant blend with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified in traditional parallelepipedal stainless steel vats before aging 14 to 18 months in French oak barrels. Since 2018, approximately 10% of production has also been aged in terra cotta amphoras, adding a subtle textural dimension.
The wine is characterized by an elegant and floral bouquet with spicy notes carried by red fruits and refined tannins on both the nose and palate. Château Larmande emphasizes precision and finesse in its winemaking, producing wines that reflect the classic Saint-Émilion style: rich, approachable, and structured for aging. This is sold as a case of six 750ml bottles.
